About London Space

The business is largely owned and run by me, Christopher Hildyard (pictured). I grew up on a farm in Yorkshire, moved to London and qualified as a chartered accountant working in the West End, City and west of London.

Wanting to run my own business I decided to change course into something more people-centred and started up in 2001 when I moved back to Shepherds Bush. I wanted to create a property business with fair play as its key value; this was in the days when the industry was much more ‘wild west’! This has resulted in longstanding, trusting relationships with many clients and customers.

Our values start with integrity, fairness and honesty. We can’t commit to those without being professional and accountable nor without being aware of the environment (we bicycle to more than 3/4 of our appointments). We also want to provide the best value for our customers in an increasingly difficult industry for the landlord.

London Space offers flexibility, good value for money and a high level of professionalism. We have a good network of reliable contractors and love running renovation/refurbishment projects, helping to improve the appeal and value of a property.

There is a lot of change happening in the property sector, but by sticking to our long-standing values and customer-friendly approach - while keeping up with the technology - we are staying ahead of the game.

Primarily based in a small shop in Masbro Village in Brook Green W14, we take on property in that core Olympia / West Kensington neighbourhood as well as the wider Hammersmith & Fulham, and Kensington & Chelsea areas boroughs; in fact anywhere within 25 mins bike ride of the office. We now also work from a home office in Mortlake and are taking on clients in Barnes, Mortlake and East Sheen SW13, SW14.
